Preserving in Liquor

So, I've been doing spicy peppers in vodka. Today I decided to try out some other, sweeter variations. There's caster sugar added to all. One jar lime, raspberries & vodka, another has lemon, raspberries & rum and the final has lemon, limes & rum. Should be ready in 6 weeks or so. I'll let you know how it all is as soon as I sober up.

Sweet dreams are made of these

I had a dream last night that Curt was drinking vodka with Tom Green in the carport and we had a pet squirrel that kept eating Clovi & Midian's food. It redeemed itself by snuggling up and napping with Clovi on the rug.

One can always dig into the deeper meaning of dreams, but I have to say that this one just seemed silly & fun. I woke up feeling light and happy. Wish I had more control to feel good in my mind more of the time.

Boo - I am driving Mum to RDU today so she can go home. But....
Yay - She'll be back for a few days in early November!
Yay - Also, Curt just sent me an email about the upcoming fiber arts fair. Kind of a small country-bumpkin sort of thing, but we always have a good time. It's at Rising Meadow Farm on 10/03.
